Maybe you know me from one of my books that found its way to you through Amazon. If so, hello again! If not, well, hello anyway – nice to meet you!
Here’s the thing: I’ve been creating various types of books, including activity books – you know, the kind where you’re supposed to write, draw, and get creative directly on the pages. And that’s where things got tricky.
While my regular books print beautifully through traditional publishing, activity books are a whole different beast. They need thick, quality paper that can handle markers, colored pencils, and all your creative enthusiasm without bleeding through to the next page. Unfortunately, the standard printing options available through platforms like Amazon just weren’t cutting it for these interactive works.
It was frustrating watching months of carefully designed activities arrive as books with paper so thin that one enthusiastic crayon stroke would show through to three pages behind it. Not exactly the creative experience I had in mind!
That’s when I had my “enough is enough” moment.
So here’s my solution: I’m bringing my activity books and interactive content directly to you through downloadable PDFs. You can print them on the paper quality YOU choose – thick cardstock for heavy marker work, or whatever suits your creative style best. No middleman taking their cut and driving up prices. No printing roulette with your creative projects.
Don’t worry – I’ll still be offering some books through traditional publishing, especially the ones that truly shine in physical book format. But for everything else? Welcome to the direct route!
The best part? Better quality for you, fairer prices, and I actually get to connect with the people who enjoy my work. It’s a win-win-win situation (yes, that’s a thing).
