“Everything has its season, and everything that is willed under heaven has its hour”
 Ecclesiastes 3:1.

It is always necessary to know when a stage of life ends. If you insist on staying in it, longer than necessary, you lose the joy and sense of the rest. Closing circles, closing doors, closing chapters, whatever you want to call it; The important thing is to be able to close them, to let go of moments of life that are closing.

Is it done with your work?
Is the relationship over?
Don’t you live in that house anymore?
Should you go on a trip?
Is the friendship over?

You can spend a lot of time of your present “wallowing” in the whys, in returning the cassette and trying to understand why this or that fact happened?
The wear and tear would be infinite because in life, you, me, your friend, your children, your sisters, all of us, are oriented to close chapters, to turn the pages, to finish with stages, or with moments of life, and move forward.

We cannot be in the present longing for the past, or even wondering why? What happened… It happened, and you have to let go, you have to let go. We cannot be eternal children, nor late teenagers, nor employees of non-existent companies, nor have links with those who do not want to be linked to us.
Facts happen and you have to let them go! That is why it is so important to destroy memories, give gifts, change houses, throw away documents, sell or give away books. External changes can symbolize inner processes of overcoming: letting go, letting go, letting go.

In life nobody plays with the marked cards, you have to learn to lose and win. We must let go, we must pass the page, we must live only with what we have in the present. Don’t expect something back, don’t expect
to be recognized for your merits, don’t expect them to ever realize who you are. Let go of resentment, turn on “your personal TV” to give and give the matter, the only thing you get is to damage him mentally, poison him, make him bitter.

Life is to be lived forward, never backward.

Because if you go through life leaving doors open, “just in case”, you can never let go of that, nor live today with satisfaction.

Courtships or friendships that never close, possibilities of “returning” for what? Need for clarifications, words that were not spoken, silences that invaded him … if you can face them now and now, do it! If not, let them go, close chapters. Tell yourself no, you don’t come back.

But don’t do it out of pride or arrogance, but because you no longer fit there, in that place, in that heart, in that room, in that house, at that desk, in that job.

You are no longer the same one who left, two days ago, three months ago, a year ago.
Therefore, there is nothing to go back to.

Close the door, pass the sheet, close the circle. Neither you will be the same, nor the environment to which you return will be the same, because in life nothing stays still, nothing is static.

It’s mental health, love for yourself, letting go of what’s no longer in your life. Remember that nothing and no one is indispensable. Neither a person, nor a place, nor a job, nothing is vital to live because: when you came to this world you arrived without that “adhesive”, therefore it is “custom” to live attached to it, and it is your job to learn to live without it, without the human or physical adhesive that today hurts you to let go.
It is a process, this of learning to detach, and humanly it can be achieved because, I repeat, nothing and nobody is indispensable to us!

It is only habit, attachment, necessity.

But close, close, clean, throw, oxygenate, despend, shake, release. There are so many words to mean mental health, and whichever one you choose, it will definitely help you move forward with peace of mind.
That’s life!
